Party Wall Letters

Before you carry out any work to which ‘The Party Wall Act’ applies (see Party Wall Act) you will need to issue any neighboring property(s) with a ‘Party Structure Notice’.

Below is a sample Party Structure Notice letter that can be downloaded and filled in to be sent to any neighboring property(s). Also available to download is a copy of the explanatory booklet provided by Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, providing further information on the act.

Building Control Applications

Before you carry out work to which Building Regulations apply (see Building Regulations) you must submit a relevant application to your local Building Control Team.

To download a planning application form, click the relevant form title from the list below or alternatively, click on the relevant Council name to be directed to their website where you should be able to fill in the relevant application online. If you are in any doubt as to which application is appropriate for your requirement or if you require any further guidance please call us on 0800 822 3786 or, contact the Building Control Team at your local Council. Even if you feel your work does not require Building Regulation approval it is always better to ask.
